    Shaheen Zareh

    President

    Shaheen began his professional career as a sales rep for Frito Lay Canada.  His strong work ethic and charisma quickly earned him a promotion as the district manger for all of southern Saskatchewan.  Following his career with Frito Lay Canada, Shaheen choose to pursue a career in real estate.  He is currently a licensed real estate agent at Royal Lepage Regina Realty and has been serving Regina for a number of years.  Soon after venturing into real estate, Shaheen decided to pursue one of his life long dreams, owning his own business.  Shaheen’s business venture began in 2009 with Zarkor Construction.  Zarkor Construction quickly blossomed into Zarkor; a multi-faceted company which includes: construction, renos, new home, and rental property.  Zarkor has been proudly serving Regina/Saskatchewan since 2009.

    Shaheen’s strong leadership has catapulted Zarkor to the forefront of its industry.  His multitude of responsibilities include: developing strategic plans to advance the company’s mission and objectives that promote revenue, profitability and growth. In addition, Shaheen oversees company operations to ensure efficiency, quality, service and cost effective management of resources.

    With his meticulous attention to detail and ability to “think outside the box”, Shaheen ensures that Zarkor will continue to serve our local communities for many years to come.

    Virginia Thompson

    Chief Financial Officer

    Virginia has been an integral part of the Zarkor team since 2009. Her knowledge and experience in the field of finance has taken her from being a part time consultant, to her role as the Chief Financial Officer of Zarkor. Her financial expertise can be attributed to her years of experience as a business owner. As the Chief Financial Officer of Zarkor, Virginia ensures the profitability of all Zarkor divisions. She works diligently with Zarkor’s management team to ensure that all Zarkor divisions remain viable and successful. With her strong background in finance and accounting, she is an excellent addition to Zarkor’s management team.

    Aideen Zareh

    Preferred Realtor

    Aideen's passion for sales runs deep; as a child Aideen and his brother would tour around the local neighborhoods selling all sorts of merchandise.  That love for sales spurred him to attend college where he majored in marketing. He is a licensed real estate agent at Royal Lepage Regina Realty.  Aideen prides himself on taking care of clients and assisting them throughout the process of purchasing and building their new property.  Aideen's wealth of sales and marketing experience, having been in the industry for 19 years, makes him a valuable asset to the Zarkor team.

    Yashar Zareh

    Sales Associate (New Builds)

    Although Yashar's education and background is in science, he found himself naturally drawn to a career in sales and has never looked back.  As a sales associate with Zarkor Homes, Yashar assists Zarkor clients with everything from purchasing their new homes to arranging all of the building details.  In addition, he is a licensed real estate agent at Royal Lepage Regina Realty.  Yashar is well equipped to look after anything and everything when it comes to purchasing and building your new home.  His superb communication skills and wiliness to go above and beyond for his clients makes him an ideal member of the Zarkor Homes team.

    Reagan Haus

    Project Manager

    Reagan Haus is the New Homes and Renovations Project Manager at Zarkor. Her role oversees all aspects of your unique new home dream from pre-construction to project completion. Every step of the way, Reagan is focused on delivering a successful build. She has great respect for the trades, whom she works extensively with to deliver the highest standard of craftsmanship possible. Reagan’s understanding of the industry is broad and she brings her knowledge, experience, enthusiasm, focus and meticulous attention to detail to her integral role with Zarkor.

    Daryl Gartner

    Manager of Health & Safety

    Daryl Gartner has been working for Zarkor, as their Manager of Health & Safety, since 2014. He is a certified Construction Safety Officer (CSO) with many years of safety courses and training. Daryl oversees the company Health and Safety Program.  His focus is zero tolerance and zero excuses when pertaining to safety in the work place. He has worked as a tradesman in many roles in the industrial ,commercial, and residential industries, and is well versed in all aspects of construction and safety needs . Daryl is a valued asset to the Zarkor Team

    Trent Derkacz

    Service Manager

    Trent is one to say he graduated from a school of hard knocks, he was very shy and quiet. At the age of 18 he sold books all over Saskatchewan and Manitoba, “Direct Sales was such a great experience it pushed me to break personal boundaries.” Since this time Trent has worked for several national companies such as Equifax, USF Water group and Culligan Water, Stor Edge, Instorage and Storage Mart. Hard work and perseverance allowed him to work his way up into management positions both in sales and operations. In 2003 Trent dove into the self-storage industry where he was promoted to Regional Manager. This position oversaw nine locations in Regina, Saskatoon, Edmonton and Minnesota. “Life on the road was exciting, but my family was more important. It was time for a change.” Looking for work closer to home, Trent entered into the construction industry at a local trade company, as well as opened and purchased a small local duct cleaning company. Trent takes on any challenge presented, possessing passion and drive that have paid off through his results. Since joining Zarkor as their Service Manager in May of 2014 Trent feels he is in an environment of likeminded people who share passion for the tasks at hand. “I have worked with many fantastic people over the course of the last 22 years, and feel very privileged to work with our team at Zarkor.”  Trent is responsible for new home owner turnovers, 1 year warranty walkthrough’s, quarterly inspections of Nighthawk rental properties, as well as assisting project managers and working with trades and budgets as an estimator for Zarkor projects.
